Circuit record · sample data

One record, full lifecycle

One operational record for the complete circuit lifecycle

Ordered, installed, documented, moved, renewed or disconnected — the whole arc lives on one record. Anyone on the team can answer what a service is, where it lands, what proves it, and what it costs.

How it works

From spreadsheet to operational control

You already have the data. The work is getting it into a shape the team can operate from.

Import existing records

Upload a CSV or Excel export. Connect suggests the column mapping; you confirm it.

Validate and normalize

Required fields checked, values normalized, duplicates flagged by circuit ID and path. You review, then publish.

Operate from a shared workspace

One workspace with roles, saved views, CSV export and an audit trail. Re-import later and records reconcile against what is already there.

Capabilities

What teams can do with Orbnex Connect

Orbnex Connect inventory: searchable circuit records with the selected path broken out into A-End, provider, facility and Z-End, plus provider, renewal and risk counts.
Inventory · sample data

Circuit inventory and A-to-Z tracing

Search the estate, then open any service to see its route end to end.

  • A-End, provider, facility and Z-End on every record
  • Search by circuit ID, customer, provider, facility or external reference
Orbnex Connect documents view: a circuit record with customer, provider, A-End, Z-End, LOA status and external reference, next to a document pipeline and a library of versioned LOA and path-proof PDFs.
Documents · sample data

LOA/CFA and facility documentation

Provider-ready paperwork generated from the record, so document and inventory cannot drift apart.

  • LOA, CFA and A-to-Z path proof as versioned PDFs
  • Internal commercial data excluded from provider-facing output
Orbnex Connect intelligence view: tracked MRC exposure, missing LOA and CFA count, renewals due in 90 days, path gaps, provider gaps, and a workspace data-health score computed from saved records.
Intelligence · sample data

Renewals, MRC, and potential recoverable spend

Every record carries its cost and renewal date, so exposure is something you can work through.

  • Renewal buckets — overdue, 7, 30 and 90 days — with the MRC attached
  • Flags records marked decommissioned that still carry MRC, for billing review
Orbnex Connect migration management: plan, validate, execute and closeout stages with a step-by-step move order, change window, safety checks for missing LOA/CFA and Power/RPP impact, and work requiring attention.
Migrations · sample data

Migrations, power context, and audit history

Move a service without losing the story: the old path, the owner, the proof.

  • Readiness checks that name what is blocking a cutover, and why
  • Waves, recorded execution, promotion and rollback — the old path preserved

Who it's for

Built for the teams that own physical connectivity

Colocation operators, carriers and providers, enterprise network teams, and the project teams that move services between them.

Where it fits

Fits into your existing stack

Orbnex Connect takes over the layer where physical connectivity is actually tracked today. It is not trying to replace the systems around it.

Replaces

  • Circuit spreadsheets, and the stale copies of them
  • Renewal calendars kept by one person
  • Hand-filled LOA/CFA templates
  • Disconnected email threads about a single circuit
  • Institutional memory that leaves when someone does

Complements

  • DCIM — Connect tracks services, not a full facility model
  • CRM and ticketing — link by case, ticket or order reference
  • Billing and AP — Connect holds your record of cost, not the invoice
  • Network monitoring — the physical and commercial record, not live telemetry
  • Provider portals — your own record, across every provider at once

Nothing has to be switched off to adopt Connect. It is a layer, not a migration.

Security & ownership

Security, ownership, and enterprise readiness

Implemented today, not aspired to.

Tenant isolation, enforced twice and tested

Your workspace is resolved from the authenticated session, never the request — then enforced again by PostgreSQL row-level security, with cross-tenant tests in CI on every change.

Append-only audit history

Record, migration, membership and billing events are logged with an owner and a timestamp.

Export and portability

Export any view to CSV whenever you want, and cancel from the billing portal yourself.

Authentication and access control

Identity comes from the session token. Write access is role-gated server-side, plan limits fail closed, and auth endpoints are rate limited. Checkout is Stripe-hosted; card details never reach our servers.

Dedicated environment option

Enterprise deployments can run on their own hostname and database, with no fallback to the shared environment.

The security page covers each control in plain language, along with our data-retention and deletion process.not hold. Security questionnaires and vulnerability reports go to info@orbnexlabs.com.

Questions

Before you try it

Is this a DCIM?

No. Connect tracks services — the circuit, its path, its paperwork and its cost — not a full facility model. It sits beside a DCIM rather than replacing one.

Do we have to switch anything off to adopt it?

No. Connect is a layer, not a migration. Your CRM, ticketing, billing and monitoring systems stay authoritative for what they own.

What happens to the spreadsheet we already have?

You import it. Records match on identifiers rather than guesswork, anything ambiguous stops and asks, and a column your file omits is left unchanged. Missing records are reported, never deleted.

Can we try it without signing up?

Yes. The sandbox parses your file in the browser — nothing is uploaded or stored — so you can see how your columns map before creating an account.

Does it sync with our CRM?

Not yet. You link records by external case, ticket or order reference and move data by CSV or Excel. Live CRM sync is not available; Enterprise connectors are scoped by request.

Orbnex Connect is early, and we say so. We are onboarding a limited number of founding teams: we load your existing spreadsheet before your first login, your rate is fixed for twelve months, and you get a direct line to what we build next.
